So where to the month of November go??? Christmas all ready? I am all ready sick of some of the Christmas commercials. If I see the one with the 2 ladies and the Verizon store I swear I will scream.
Thanksgiving was nice. We had it on Friday since mom and Jon had to work. I did my major food shopping on Turkey day. There was hardly anyone in the store buying a big buggy full, just things forgotten for dinner. Everyone had a good time on Friday. Mom tried out 2 new recipes and I tried one and all of them were a hit, thank God. Jonathon and Alex even played nice together, once Alex left grandma's side.
Well December is here and EJ turns 19 in 7 days. Where has my little boy gone? Seems just yesterday I heard his cry for the first time and now he is driving and working at a good place and going into the military. 19, he is a man but is still my little boy.
Not much else going on, looking at the Christmas tree, just put it up so its bare. Jonathon will be excited in the morning. Now to get the stuff out of the attic, back breaking UGH!
Hope everyone is doing okay and I will talk to you later. Love to all....

This week.....
Not much going on. Jonathon is playing and I have been cleaning house most of the day. Jon did take us out to lunch/dinner. Nice to have a date with my guys. Can't believe that Thanksgiving is Thursday. To cook or not to cook, that is the question. I have a turkey, but it is big for the 3 of us. Jon has to work, mom is working, Kim well I don't know if she is coming up or not. I will cook if someone is coming if not, reservations sound great to me. Oh wait that means more money out of bank account, guess I am cooking.
EJ is doing great. He hates his job, but what teenager likes to work. He is still working on his weight so he can go into the Marines. First of the year is 6 weeks away and he wants to sign up then. I am down 4 pounds this week, YEAH!! Come on EJ.
Jon hasn't had anything exciting going on at work. Same stuff, different day. Me, well I just do the same.
Going to put the tree up day after Thanksgiving. Jonathon is excited. He has a count down to when the tree goes up. I on the other am not.
OH we are execpting in the family. Fisher is due to arrive at our house on Dec 7, EJ's birthday. He is an 8 month old lab and is going to become EJ and Jonathon's dog. He is going to become mom's new exercise trainer, a.k.a. walker. I am excited. Jonathon has no clue.
OK off to get little man to bed. Love to all.....

Busy day today. Had a girls lunch today with Rachel, Lacey, and baby Dallas. He is getting so big. He is loving taking a bottle now, yeah. Thank you Rach for lunch it was good. After that to the doctors. No fun, now have high blood pressure. That is going to get back on track ASAP!!! I don't need another pill to take. Jon and I offically for the God only knows how manay times, Weight Watchers again this morning. A big plus for me, I got over the 32oz water requirement. I hate water :( Went to Michaels today and wated to buy the whole store, mom only got what I needed and Jon okayed it. I love doing crafts with Jonathon and he gets so excited. He has grown up so much in the past 2 months my baby is gone.
I am debating. I love Christmas but hate the thoughts of doing all the stuff this year, tree, lights, decorating. I would love to get away with just a table top tree, not that Jon would stand for that. He LOVES his lights and spends hours putting them on the tree and outside. Guess its the Scrooge in me this year. Hope I get over it cause all the stuff comes out of the overhead day after Thanksgiving. This year we are staying home for turkey day cause Jon has to work and so does mom so everyone is doing there own thing.
OK....I am off to finish laundry. The ever ending battle.
Love to all...

Had a surprise visit
Well EJ decided to drop in for a visit. He came in on Saturday and left today on Sunday. Short visit but you know we both needed it and we talked about a lot of things. You know he has a great head on his shoulders. He really has his life planned out, just has to loose 10 pounds to go into the military, can't say which branch for sure but I think I know ;) Jonathon loved to have him home.
Jon is still waiting for the "official" word he got Sgt. at work. All ready got the head shake and eye connect from the Major. Keep fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Jonathon....well Jonathon is the same crazy kid as usual. He is really taking off spelling and learning to read. He is much faster the EJ was, funny how we compare kids. He is always asking how to spell a word. He got a great report card and loves school. Hates when it is weekends other then he gets his TV longer in his room at night.
Me...well I am here and doing the same. Nothing new to report other then my van hit a yellow concrete pole in a parking lot. Darn pole should of seen me coming. Van is all fixed and the rental car was sweet for the few days I had it :)
OK nothing much more going on. Love to all.....

The washer, dryer and I
I have become one with the washer and dryer. I am washing ALL of Chrissy clothes and such for her. Do you know how hard it is to get the smell of smoke and animal out of clothes? Let me tell you not easy. I have been smelling it so much I think its up my nose so much that I can't tell which is clean what is not. I am just happy that I am able to do this for her, its one less thing on her mind.
Positive note. We got our pumpkins yesterday so Jonathon and I are going to do ours tomorrow night while daddy is at work. Yuck pumpkin guts!!! We all have our own pumpkin this year. Jonathon got a baby pumpkin and colored it with a face. He ended up taking it to school today to show it off. That is my boy. I still haven't decided what I am going to crave on my pumpkin.
OK dryer is about to go off so off to fold more clothes.
Love to all................

I am tired.....
What a past 24 hours. Last night our neighbor 2 doors down house caught on fire. Thank God no one was hurt. It is an absolute shame. She is 20-21 lost her husband 4 months ago and has been fighting a battle with her mother in law over the house. Poor kid. The house is still standing, the kitchen, the garage and the back room are fine (other then smoke damage) so she didn't loose everything. I have most her clothes here so I can wash them for her.
OK happier note. Jonathon and I went to his previous school for a Fall Festival today. What a blast. He had so much fun playing games, jumping in the bounce house, tug of war, sack race, and of course a hay ride. He had no problem falling asleep tonight. Was out within 10 mins in bed. Mommy is even ready to go to bed but I have a few things to do before I go.
Jon is feeling better. His smile is almost back to normal. He is working and so he is happy. He had a quite day with us being gone all day. He enjoyed himself I think, I hope.
Love to all...

So a crazy night last night
What a night. Our neighbor came over and told me someone broke into her house. Of course I freaked out and called 911, she said her phone was dead. Well while waiting for deputies she didn't have a break in she had a break down. She had overdosed on her medicine and then drank vodka. Everyone on the block thought something was wrong at my house cause a big fire truck, deputies car, and an ambulance in my driveway and lights going. I was staying calm till it was all over.
So other then that all is well here. Jon is at work, waiting for Sgt. stop still. I am doing my same thing, nothing. Jonathon, well is Jonathon.
Love to all.......

Crazy 2 weeks
So lets see about getting an update on here. Jon was in the hospital for an overnight stay. He woke up on Tuesday Oct 7 and his right side of his face was not right. I of course went to think immediately a stroke. After 6 hours in ER it turns out it is Bells Palsy. His nerves on the right side of his face are in a paralyzed state but it is getting much better. His biggest 2 problems is the right eye doesn't close all the way so he wears a patch to sleep, just in time for Halloween, and his lip looks like Elvis. He is getting better each and every day.
OK some fun news. Jonathon and I had another "date night" His school had a Fall Festival last Thurs and we went together, dad was working. What a fun time Jonathon had. They had about 20 games and Jonathon played everyone of them. He loved the water gun game, plays almost every weekend with his friend Michael so he had plenty of practice. His next favorite was the throw the roll of toilet paper though the toilet seat. It was so funny. They had a toilet seat hanging and you had to throw 2 rolls of toilet paper with duct tape around it. It was funny. The best thing was the Bounce House of course. It was cute, every time Jonathon seen one of his friends they would hug. He is popular in his class. He was even able to see some of his friends that were in Pre-K he hasn't seen in months. Of course after all the running around and visiting all his friends he was starving. So off to McDonalds. Needless to say it was no problem getting him to bed that night :)
This coming weekend, the 25th, Jonathon and I are going to the Fall Festival at his old preschool. He can't wait to see his old teachers. Mom loves it cause it is totally free and they have alot of things for the kids to do. I just hope this nice weather stays here. We are going to the pumpkin patch afterwards to get his pictures taken and get a pumpkin. I know we will need another before Halloween but Jonathon can't wait.
Jon and I went to a friends wedding this past Saturday night and had alot of fun. We had great company at our table and I was able to hold baby Dallas, Jon and I hopefully Godson. I spoiled him and hardly let him go. He is growing so much. Jon's Sgt. was at our table and come to find out his daughter is my favorite cashier at CVS. Small world.
EJ is doing good. He is working and I still don't totally understand his job, something about doing inventory on shipments coming in from overseas, but he is LOVING the pay. He still hasn't made it to FL though.
So I guess I will close this for now. Need to get things done. Oh one more thing....
Rays are going to the World Series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love to all....Connie

Date Night
Well its Saturday night and its date night. Jonathon and I had a date :) We went to Publix and bought a frozen pizza and the fixin's for ice cream sundaes. It was cute he told the cashier "we are on a date". She laughed so hard. He even pushed the buggy for me. Jon was out with his squad celebrating on of the guys birthday. I had no desire to go listen to work talk. BORING (sometimes)
Sunday we are going bowling with the sheriff dept. We get together about every 2 months and have a family bowling day. Corrections and road deputies all get together so its alot of people. Don't let anyone act up in the bar, plenty of cops around, going to be around 60. Its funny when we ball and the standard saying "I've been robbed." Someone will call out, call a cop.
I am missing EJ a whole bunch the past week. I wish I had the money to go see him. I miss him so very much. He is grown up so fast I can't stand it.
Jonathon is trying to decide what to be for the 31st. Hard decision to make for a 6 yr old.
My mom got out of the hospital today, thank goodness. Her heart was acting up again and they did alot of test. I hope and pray she got out in time to get over to St.Pete for her class reunion dinner. She was so depressed about not being able to go.
OK, got to fold a load of wash. Love to all.......

Thursday......
So its been a quite day or two. Jonathon has had good days so that is great. I had to have a tooth pulled Tues (OUCH!!). Dentist was really good, didn't hurt when he did it, but the next day...... Pain pills are the bestest friends :)
My mom is in the hospital today :( He heart is acting up. They did a CAT scan and are doing other test tomorrow. What is really bad is she has her class reunion this weekend and can't go now. She went shopping and got new clothes and shoes (mom can I borrow them)? Seriously....prayers needed.
Jon is coming up to 3 days off. What honey do's can I come up with?
Short tonight. Tired and debate is on so going to bed.
Love to all...

Jonathon's 6th Birthday
So today is my youngest son's 6th birthday. I was talking to another mom earlier today and the birth of a child you can remember almost minute to minute how things went and on your wedding day its a blur. Jonathon woke up and ran into our room saying WAKE UP!! Its my birthday did you forget? HM no, just the alarm hasn't gone off. Then he said you are going to miss it. So off to school he goes with his bag of cookies for his friends in his class. A girl in his class had a birthday today too so they had cupcake too. Can you say sugar high! After school Jonathon and I went and visited his previous PreK school and gave his teacher there a thank you letter for his gift Saturday at his party. It was so cute to see all the younger kids run up to him and say "Jonathon Jonathon, are you coming back?" These kids are 3, 4, and 5 yr old. It was way cute. All the teachers gave him hugs and a few little gifts they keep. I love that school. I am hoping to do some volunteer work there too. So we get home and Jonathon opens his gifts we have for him. I went today and with the gift card he got from Momma Diane (next door neighbor) and Aunt Linda, I got him his Transformer movie he wanted. Then of course there was 2 Speed Racers DVD's and a new Speed Racer hat. He was happy. Now he is asking when his next present day is. What a kid. Jonathon was asked where he wanted to go for his birthday dinner and he choose the Chinese buffet, yummy. He must of been reading my mind. He had to put his own food on his plate because, "I am 6 now mom I am not a baby." Oh I see alot of this to come.
So that is the excitement of our day. A special day that brought Jonathon into our lives 6 yrs ago tonight and has been a blessing since the minute he was born. He was 6 weeks early and has been off and running ever since. No patient...hm wonder where he gets that from??
Off to get ready to watch season premiere of Without a Trace. Hope everyone had a great day :)

TAKE OFF!!!
Well I am coming up to date and starting a blog. Coming out of the stone age. I have not much to say but I can and will talk about my family and wonderful friends that I care so much for. I am a stay at home mom and a wife. I am mom to EJ, just graduated high school and is the first true love of my life. I am mom to Angel Timmy who blessed our lives for just a very short time. My third wonderful son is Jonathon. He is my Dennis the Menace. He just started kindergarten this year. He can come up with things I would never think a 6 yr old could. He loves putting Legos together and amazes me and Jon everyday. Then there is Jon. My high school sweetheart. My first love, my first real kiss. We have been married coming up on 9 yrs in Jan. We both married other people for different reason, might blog that story around anniversary time. Jon is a Corporal for Pasco County Sheriff Dept. and works in the Detention area. He loves his job and loves that he can support us so I can stay at home and be a mom. I do volunteer at Jonathon's school and am an active member of the PTO.
So I will close on my first entry. See what else I can find to place on this blog thing. I seen others having really cool blogs so I know its out there.
Have a nice day/night and will write more later.
