So lets see about getting an update on here. Jon was in the hospital for an overnight stay. He woke up on Tuesday Oct 7 and his right side of his face was not right. I of course went to think immediately a stroke. After 6 hours in ER it turns out it is Bells Palsy. His nerves on the right side of his face are in a paralyzed state but it is getting much better. His biggest 2 problems is the right eye doesn't close all the way so he wears a patch to sleep, just in time for Halloween, and his lip looks like Elvis. He is getting better each and every day.
OK some fun news. Jonathon and I had another "date night" His school had a Fall Festival last Thurs and we went together, dad was working. What a fun time Jonathon had. They had about 20 games and Jonathon played everyone of them. He loved the water gun game, plays almost every weekend with his friend Michael so he had plenty of practice. His next favorite was the throw the roll of toilet paper though the toilet seat. It was so funny. They had a toilet seat hanging and you had to throw 2 rolls of toilet paper with duct tape around it. It was funny. The best thing was the Bounce House of course. It was cute, every time Jonathon seen one of his friends they would hug. He is popular in his class. He was even able to see some of his friends that were in Pre-K he hasn't seen in months. Of course after all the running around and visiting all his friends he was starving. So off to McDonalds. Needless to say it was no problem getting him to bed that night :)
This coming weekend, the 25th, Jonathon and I are going to the Fall Festival at his old preschool. He can't wait to see his old teachers. Mom loves it cause it is totally free and they have alot of things for the kids to do. I just hope this nice weather stays here. We are going to the pumpkin patch afterwards to get his pictures taken and get a pumpkin. I know we will need another before Halloween but Jonathon can't wait.
Jon and I went to a friends wedding this past Saturday night and had alot of fun. We had great company at our table and I was able to hold baby Dallas, Jon and I hopefully Godson. I spoiled him and hardly let him go. He is growing so much. Jon's Sgt. was at our table and come to find out his daughter is my favorite cashier at CVS. Small world.
EJ is doing good. He is working and I still don't totally understand his job, something about doing inventory on shipments coming in from overseas, but he is LOVING the pay. He still hasn't made it to FL though.
So I guess I will close this for now. Need to get things done. Oh one more thing....
Rays are going to the World Series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love to all....Connie
